Leaving from Seattle-Tacoma International? Planning your Sea-Tac (SEA) airport parking before you go can make departure day easier to organize. Take your time, read the listings and choose the lot that matches your trip.
What Does Sea-Tac Airport Parking Cost?
The question comes up first, so here is a plain answer: it depends on your dates and the lot you pick. A daily number does not tell the whole story, because what you pay is the total for the days you are away. We do not print dollar amounts here, since rates change with demand and season. Our rate for your dates shows live on each lot page (from $5.95/day).
Understanding Your Parking Options
Parking near SEA comes down to a few things you can read in each listing:
- Where the lot is. Lots near the airport sit a short ride from the terminal, so the shuttle matters.
- Who runs it. Each lot is run by a separate company and lists its own rules and services.
- What fits your vehicle. If you drive a tall vehicle or a large one, look for what the listing says about it, and ask if it does not say.
Whatever you pick, read the details for your own dates first so you know what to expect when you arrive.
What Can Change Your Total
Days away, how a lot counts a day, taxes, fees, valet and other extras, and busy dates can all move the total. Compare the whole total for your dates.

If You Use a Lot Near the Airport
With a lot near the airport, the shuttle is part of your trip. Each lot lists its own shuttle hours and how often it runs, so read that part of the listing with your flight times in mind. Check the early and late hours if your flight is at the edge of the day. To see the listed details and find a space that fits your plans, check live availability for Sea-Tac airport parking.
Where the Shuttle Picks You Up
SEA says hotel and off-site courtesy shuttles use the courtesy shuttle lane on the 3rd floor of the airport parking garage. Ask your lot which island to use.
Why Reserving Ahead Helps
Reserving ahead gives you one less thing to think about on travel day. Each lot lists how check-in works, how late you can arrive and how to change or cancel, so read those terms before you book. Reserving early helps because:
- You know where you are going before you leave home.
- You can see current rates at the moment you book.
- You can plan your trip to the terminal around your flight.
Because rates change with demand and season, we show live pricing when you reserve instead of quoting numbers that may be out of date. Check current Sea-Tac parking options and reserve online.
Easy Tips for Your SEA Departure
- Leave early during busy travel periods.
- SEA says to arrive 2 hours before a domestic flight and 3 hours before an international one. Add your drive, parking and shuttle time before that.
- Keep your reservation confirmation handy.
- Take a photo of your parking spot, so your return is simple.
- Check how you pay and what the listing says about your key and your return pick-up.
Heading to an Alaska Cruise?
The airport lot and the cruise pier are separate steps. Seattle cruises board from Pier 66 or Pier 91, so check your pier with your cruise line and plan that ride on its own.
